Recaldent™

Thirty years ago, a research group from the University of Melbourne led by Prof. Eric Reynolds investigated a milk protein called casein until they were able to break it up and stabilise a calcium phosphate nanocomplex by fragments of this protein. This complex, called casein phosphopeptide-amorphous calcium phosphate (CPP-ACP), was trademarked as ‘Recaldent™’.
