Customising white zirconia with Initial Zirconia Coloring Liquids

Limit the required finishing

With a framework in the right colours, finishing with painting or micro-layering becomes even faster. Lifelike hues are embedded within, offering great possibilities for achieving a realistic and vibrant finish.

Faster, more predictable and individual

While multi-layered zirconia might seem as an attractive option, there are several drawbacks to this method. It requires a quite large inventory, while the options for actual individualisation are limited. Moreover, nesting becomes more complicated because the arrangement and optimalisation of the milling are limited by the shade gradient. After all, you don’t want to end up with a highly chromatic incisal part. In some cases, the gradients even constitute different mechanical properties as the amounts of yttria and cubic zirconia vary throughout the Initial Zirconia Coloring Liquids on the other hand, allow for a truly individualised approach from the base, including the gingival part. It’s easily understood, fast to apply and renders predictable results.

What you see is what you get: predictable and accurate coloring of Initial Zirconia Disk.

Paint or immerse

You can use the Initial Zirconia Coloring Liquids following either a more standardised or highly individualised approach. For standard colouring, the crown can simply be dipped for a few seconds, first with only the incisal part in a more bluish/greyish shade, and thereafter the entire restoration in a body shade. If more individualisation is required, the colouring liquids can be simply applied with a brush. Colour marking makes it very easy to see what you  over the entire process.
Instead of painting with a brush, you can simply dip the restoration if a standard gradient is required.

Colouring liquids offer maximal individualisation from the start, in a minimum of time. It allows for more possibilities and control over the final shade in just a couple of minutes. After colouring, the restoration can be finished as usual, e.g. with Initial IQ ONE SQIN.
