Open Tray Impression
Direct “pick-up” implant impression technique with open impression tray
The impression is taken with the aid of a custom-made impression tray.
This tray is perforated at the implant positions where the impression is to be taken enabling the guide pins of the impression copings to pass through the tray.
After setting of the impression material, the guide screw is disengaged and the impression removed, whereby the impression copings remains in the impression.
