A new training facility was completed next to a GC resort facility, Shishin-an in Karuizawa. The ceremony was held by the owner, Chairman Nakao and Mrs. Nakao, the architect “Masaharu Seno and partners” and the constructor “Tomoegumi”, who developed the design and construction, and director Nakagawa on behalf of the users.

The first board meeting was held on April 15th at the GCIAG Luzern Main Office, with the participation of all the Nakao Foundation Board Members. Operation policy and the budget for the Nakao Foundation's Fiscal Year 2019/2020 were discussed and approved. Detailed rules for operation will be decided in the upcoming “Management Board Meeting” held during the coming IADR in June, which the help the Nakao Foundation truly kick-off its activities.

GC America Inc. proudly announces our Environmental Management System (EMS) has been certified to ISO 14001:2015 by NSF, a highly respected notification body. To become ISO 14001:2015 certified, GC America underwent a rigorous auditing process led by NSF-ISR. This achievement demonstrates GC America’s commitment to a sustainable manufacturing operation that protects the environment and local communities. 

GC International AG opened and moved to a new office in Lucerne, Switzerland in February 2019. The new location has a spacious office floor and a training room. On March 8th, GC held an opening party to reveal the new office, inviting 150 important guests. The party was successful, thanks to the warm, congratulatory speeches given by the guests of honor. From the new office, GC International AG will provide a strong leadership role to support and improve the oral health of the people in the world.

Five junior and high school students from Japan visited our GC International AG office in Lucerne, Switzerland on March 24th to give a presentation and lead a discussion with us. The students came from areas that were heavily affected by the earthquake when they were 6 to 10 years old.

The tour members were chosen to share their experiences that were learned from the disaster by interacting with the Swiss local host families for the duration of two weeks. The key message that these children delivered was the importance to establish a relationship and network in the local community, consequently forming a resilient community spirit and togetherness, which is immune to the affects of natural disasters.
